Undergoing physicals are important for any institution or company as it makes certain that every individual is physically fit to start their school year, undergo strenuous training, or meet the demands of the job. We provide cost-effective, efficient physical exams to children, teenagers, and adults alike.

Our school, sports, and camp physicals are available for individuals with the age ranges 5 and above. On the other hand, physicals are available to those 18 years old and above.
What Do the Physicals Cover?
1. Vision
You should have at least 20/40 acuity in each eye with or without correction and at least 70” peripheral in the horizontal meridian, measure in each eye.
2. Hearing
You must be able to perceive “forced whisper” at a distance of 5 ft. or less, with or without hearing aid. This standard equates to an average hearing loss in the better ear of less than 40 dB.
3. Blood Pressure/Pulse Rate
Your blood pressure and pulse must be checked to determine if you have high blood pressure and irregular heartbeats.
4. Urinalysis
Undergoing urinalysis is compulsory. It looks for any indications of underlying medical conditions, like diabetes.
5. Physical Examinations
The physical exam will cover various categories, such as:
- General appearance
- Eyes (cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, etc.)
- Ears (scarring of the tympanic membrane, perforated eardrums, etc.)
- Mouth and throat (to look for problems breathing or swallowing)
- Heart (murmurs, extra sounds, pacemaker, etc.)
- Lungs and chest, not including breast examination (abnormal breathing, impaired respiratory functions, cyanosis, etc.)
- Abdomen and Viscera (enlarged liver, viscera, muscle weakness)
- Vascular (abnormal pulse, carotid, varicose veins)
- Genito-urinary (hernias)
- Extremities (limb impaired)
- Spine, other musculoskeletal (previous surgery, limitation of motion, tenderness, etc.)
- Neurological (impaired equilibrium, coordination or speech pattern, ataxia, asymmetric deep tendon reflexes)
Know that you can only complete a DOT physical if it is done by a medical examiner that is certified by the FMCSA.
